The Centers for Disease Control is advising people to avoid Halloween costume parties and even door to door trick or treating as American COVID-19 cases are higher than at any point in the pandemic. New York City’s traditional Halloween parade has been canceled, but there are plans for elaborate costume parties taking place, including one with a $1000 ticket to attend the secret bash in an undisclosed location.
