作家名片 | 盛可以：好文学是由怀疑者和反抗者生产出来的

近年来，中华文化“走出去”的影响力不断扩大，在全球文化多元化发展日益兴盛的背景下，中国文化译研网(CCTSS)联合中国作家协会《小说选刊》杂志社，启动“新世纪中国当代作家、作品海外传播数据库”项目，将100位中国当代优秀作家的简介、代表作品以及展示作家风采的短视频翻译为10种语言，集结成1000张中国作家名片向全球推介。千张“作家名片”将鲜明地向世界宣告：我是中国作家，我在进行中国创作。
此种形式和规模是中国故事走向世界的一大创新，会让世界更加全面、客观、公正地了解中国优秀作家作品，同时也是打通中国文化走向世界的“最后一公里”。
盛可以，1973年5月生于湖南省益阳市兰溪镇。九十年代移居深圳。曾做过证券公司职员，机关文秘以及杂志社编辑记者。2002年开始小说写作。著有九部长篇小说，包括《北妹》《道德颂》《死亡赋格》《野蛮生长》《锦灰》《子宫》等，以及《福地》、《留一个房间给你用》等多部中短篇小说集。作品被译成英语、法语、德语、意大利语、俄语、西班牙语十余种语言文字在海外出版发行。
长篇处女作《北妹》英文版2012年由企鹅兰登出版社出版，入围英士曼亚洲国际文学奖长名单；《死亡赋格》英文版2014年9月由澳大利亚GIRAMONDO出版社出版在国际上产生广泛影响。《野蛮生长》英译本企鹅兰登出版社2018年9月出版，意大利语和瑞典语正在翻译中即将相继推出。《福地》法语版也将于2018年9月由菲利普.毕基埃（Editions Philippe Picquier）出版社出版。
盛可以的作品一部分描写的是社会现实、贫困人群、女性权利与生存境遇；另一部分作品切入历史，观照现实，是充满想象力的现实与魔幻交织的寓言小说。其语言风格猛烈，热衷声音实验，以敏锐观察和冷酷书写而著称。作家莫言评价盛可以是才华横溢的大胆作家，语言充满野性与蓬勃的生命力。《人民文学》杂志社称盛可以的小说锋利有力，对生活的解剖达到了一种令人心惊的地步。2012年《纽约时报》称其为国际文坛“冉冉升起的文学新星”。企鹅兰登出版社评价她是勇敢而有才华的作家。《华尔街日报》称盛可以充满想象与力量的小说都植根于现实，正是这种书写使她成为中国文坛正在崛起的年轻作家之一。
其代表作《北妹》描写九十年代初期中国人南下珠江三角洲淘金寻梦热潮中，乡村性感少女钱小红的遭遇，展示了女性在路上、活下去的生命力量。《野蛮生长》通过李氏家族小人物的命运，直面中国当下社会现实。《子宫》描写一家四代女人的子宫遭遇与情感命运，真实地刻划了社会发展中女性道德观念的嬗变。《死亡赋格》写知识分子在经历巨大的动荡理想破灭信仰坍塌之后如何在沉沦中挣扎。
Sheng Keyi
Sheng Keyi was born May 1973 in Lanxi Town, Yiyang, Hunan, China, and relocated to Shenzhen in the 1990s. She previously worked as a securities consultant, government secretary and magazine editor. She started writing fiction in 2002. She has written nine novels, including Northern Girls, Dao De Song, Death Fugue, Yeman Shengzhang, Jin Hui and The Uterus, and a number of short story collections such as Fu Di and I Left a Room for You. Her works have been translated and published into over 10 languages, including English, French, German, Italian, Russian and Spanish.
The English translation of her first novel Northern Girls was published in 2012 by Penguin Books and was longlisted for the 2012 Man Asian Literary Prize. The publication of the English translation of her novel Death Fugue in September 2014 by the Australian publisher Giramondo rocked the international literary scene. An English translation of her novel Yeman Shengzhang was published by Penguin Books in September 2018, with Italian and Swedish translations soon to be released. A French translation of Fu Di is due to be published in September 2018 by Philippe Picquier Publishing.
Some of Sheng Keyi’s stories depict the realities of modern society, poverty, women’s rights and survival. Others are fantastical creations that use history to scrutinize the present. Sheng is known for her fierce writing style and incisive observations. Writer Mo Yan called Sheng Keyi a bold and talented writer whose prose is full of life. People’s Literature praised the strength of her writing, in particular her ability to portray life with shocking realism. In 2012, the New York Times called her a “rising star” in the international literary scene, while Penguin Books commended her bravery and ability. The Wall Street Journal credited the imaginative realism of her stories as making her a formidable rising figure in modern Chinese literature.
Sheng’s representative works include Northern Girls which depicts the experience of an attractive young girl named Qian Xiaohong during the Pearl River Delta gold rush in the early 1990s. Evident in the work is the vitality of women living on the road. Yeman Shengzhang tells the fate of the Li family when facing the reality of modern Chinese society. The Uterus is about how four generations of daughters deal with issues relating to their wombs, and explores women’s attitudes to ethics in the midst of major social changes. Death Fugue portrays the struggle of intellectuals in the aftermath of unrest that destroys their belief systems.
