Those good virtues glittered, the whole Southern mountain where his students might gathered.

Fames are cloud weights, his tolerance as the sea’s enormous.

The golden wind carries the jade dew, their grey hair shines in the red halls.

Best wishes for my master's longevity, health and pleasure.

Cutting the plum blossom on a screen, the jade birds dancing along the bead curtains.

The birthday feast calls for the old people with memories.

Listening to the music, enjoying the best moment.

Days in the past or the future, there will always be new stories.

童兵先生简介

童兵：1942年生，绍兴人，中国首位新闻学博士，著名新闻学家、新闻传播教育家，曾任中国人民大学新闻学院教授、博导和复旦大学新闻传播学博士后流动站站长、国务院学位委员会第五届学科评议组新闻传播学学科召集人、复旦大学新闻学院学术委员会主任，现任复旦大学文科资深教授、博导，复旦大学志德书院院长。
