     new=brand-new（崭新的），

            =novel  （新颖的）

e.g.

>>> The piece of clothes is brand-new. 这件衣服是崭新的。

They're working on a brand-new album. 他们正在制作一张全新的专辑。

I'm quite partial to the spacious lounge and the brand-new kitchen. 我很喜欢这个宽敞的起居室和这个全新的厨房。

The idea is quite novel I think. 我觉得这个想法很新呢。

Protesters have found a novel way of demonstrating against steeply rising oil prices. 他们发现了一个全新的办法抗议油价飞涨。

The book presents some very novel features. 这本书呈现出一些非常新颖的特点。

    patient =uncomplaining 不抱怨的，没有怨言的，顺从的 （not complaining）

                =stoic ['stəʊɪk]坚忍的，泰然自若的，不以物喜不以己悲(seeming unaffected by pleasure or pain)

                =tolerant 宽容的，能容忍的 (is able to tolerate environmental conditions or physiological stress)

e.g.

>>>  He is a cheerful and uncomplaining travel companion. 他是一个乐观，且从不抱怨的旅侣。

The man appeared stoic as he appeared in court. 这个人出现在法庭上的时候似乎泰然自若的。

A tolerant person normally has breadth of mind. 有宽容精神的人通常胸襟开阔。

Of all the girls she was the most tolerant. 在所有女孩当中，她是最宽容的。

    perfect =flawless ['flɔːləs]无瑕的

                 =impeccable [ɪm'pekəb(ə)l]无可挑剔的

e.g.

>>>  I was deeply impressed by the flawless performance of a difficult piece. 我对这首高难度曲子的完美演奏印象深刻。

The man delivererd his speech in flawless Mandarin. 这个人用完美的普通话发表了演讲。

The man shows impeccable manners. 这个人有无可挑剔的行为举止。

My boss has impeccable taste in clothes. 我的老板在着装方面无可挑剔。

Her academic credentials are impeccable. 她的学术背景无可挑剔。
