[2] Sensei is the Japanese word for “teacher.”  It is pronounced, sen-say.

Sensi在日语里就是“老师”的意思,它的发音可以用汉语拼音 “Sen  Sei”

[3] Accepting a defect will sound something like,“it’s always been that way so we can’t change it in three days” or, “that’s atool issue that we can’t change.”   TheShingijutsu sensei doesn’t really care about internal constraints…..he isfocused on the customer and how to break down any and all barriers to ensurethe customer gets his/her product defect free.  If you’re a team leader and you try to “accept a defect” during yourkaizen event, you can expect to hear feedback from the sensei of , “Noexcuses!” (of course, he’ll say this in Japanese, but you’ll likely understandthe emphasis in his voice and the look on his face).

“接受缺陷”听起来会是 “它一直就是那样子,我们不可能在3天内改变它” 或者“它是机器的问题我们不能改变”。 Shingijutsu老师才不会关心内部的约束…,他会关注客户以及突破一切障碍确保客户得到他/她的没有缺陷的产品。如果你是一个小组的领导并且在Kaizen活动中接受缺陷,那么你能想到将会从老师那里听到的“不要有任何借口”(当然,他或许会用日语说,但你能通过他的说话的重音或看他的表情可以理解他的表达)
