今天分享一首 Incubus乐队 的《Drive》。

这首歌来自他们的第三张专辑《 Make Yourself》，被认为是乐队影响力最大的歌曲。2001年3月3日登上Billboard现代摇滚排行榜榜首，同年7月28日登上Billboard Hot 100榜单第9名。MV的灵感基于 M.C. Escher's《Drawing Hands》和Gerrit van Dijk's的动画电影《 I Move, So I Am (Holland, 1997)》，该MV曾在2001年MTV音乐录影带大奖中获得最佳团体录影带提名。

Incubus乐队成立于1991年乐队成员包括Brandon Boyd（人声和打击乐），Mike Einziger（吉他），Ben Kenney（贝斯），Jose Pasillas II（鼓）和DJ Chris Kilmore（混音）。乐队名字来得很随机。这背后的故事是这样的：乐队需要在第一次演出前几个小时想出一个名字，在几个失败的选择之后，吉他手Mike查阅字典，几乎是随机选择了“Incubus”,他说选择这个名字是因为它听起来很傻。在神话传说中，Incubus是一种恶魔，会在夜晚降临，在女人睡觉的时候与她们发生性关系。但乐队成员认为大家都已经15岁了，不会被这个词所伤害。于是就这样一直用了下来。
