1. borrow ＆ lend

borrow表示“向别人借”，暂时使用，为非延续动词，不能与表示一段时间的时间状语连用，一般borrow与from连用，结构，borrow sth from sb “从某人那借来某物”

①     You canborrow this book from the library. 你可以从图书馆里借这本书。

②     May Iborrow your bike? 我可以借一下你的自行车吗？

borrow的反义词为lend表示“借给某人”，常与to(介词)连用，结构，lend sth to sb。

Mike lent a book to John. = Mike lentJohn a book. 迈克借给约翰一本书。

注意：在表达“借了多长时间”时，既不能用borrow 也不能用lend, 因为他们是瞬间性动词,要用keep。如：

--How long may Ikeep the book? 这本书我可以借多长时间？

--You can keep it for two weeks. 你可以借两周.

2. For one week, she did not doany housework and neither did I.

整整一周，她没有做任何家务，我也没有做。

neither用作副词，作“也不”解释
