We always convince ourselves that life will be better after we get married, have a baby, then another. Then we are frustrated that the kids aren't old enough and we'll be more content when they have grown up. After that we're frustrated that we have teenagers to deal with. We will certainly be happy when they are out of that stage.
We always tell ourselves that our life will be complete when our spouse gets his or her act together, when we get a nicer car, and are able to go on a nice vacation, when we retire.
One of my favorite quotes comes from Alfred Souza. He said, "For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin-real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned onto me that these obstacles were my life." Yes, there is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way. And remember that time waits for no one. So stop waiting until you are born again to decide that there is no better time than right now to be happy...
Happiness is a journey, not a destination. So, work like you don't need money, love like you've never been hurt, and dance like no one's watching.

我们总是在说服自己，在我们结婚生子后，生活会更美好。然而接下来，我们又会为孩子太小而困扰，同时又以为等孩子长大些，我们的生活会更令人满意。但等到孩子进入青春期，我们还是很苦恼。这时我们又会想，等孩子过了青春期，我们一定会幸福。
我们一直不停地对自己说，等夫妻消除分歧，等我们有一辆更美观耐用的汽车，并且能有一个美好的假期，等我们退休了，生活肯定会幸福圆满。
我很欣赏阿尔弗雷德苏泽的一则名言：“长久以来，我总是觉得，一种真正的生活就要开始，但一直受到某种阻碍，比如，急于完成的事物、没有干完的工作、要奉献的一些时间、未偿还的债务。这些都要先解决，然后真正的生活才会开始。我终于明白了，这些障碍本身就是我的生活。”是的，没有通往幸福的道路，幸福本身就是一条路。记住，时不我待。所以，不要等你有幸再来世上走一遭时，才明白此时此刻最应快乐......
幸福是一段旅程，而不是终点。所以，尽心工作吧，就像你根本不需要钱一样；尽情去爱吧，就像你未曾被伤害过；纵情起舞吧，就像根本无人观望。
