鼻烟壶指的是盛鼻烟的容器，小可手握，便于携带。明末清初，鼻烟传入中国，鼻烟盒渐渐东方化，产生了鼻烟壶。

Snuff bottle refers to the container for snuff, which is small and easy to hold. At the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty, snuff was introduced into China, snuff box gradually became Oriental, and snuff bottle came into being.
