该场地被数个科学园所包围，其中包括中关村科技园，即中国的硅谷。该项目关注的是，在我们调研的该场地475家高科技公司中只有5％的公司关注环境问题和绿色能源。如今的北京是中国最干旱的城市之一，但是水资源的可持续利用的重要性仍然没有得到每个公民的充分认识。 水资源的浪费，特别是服务业的水资源浪费，令人震惊。The site issurrounded by several science parks including Zhongguancun Science andTechnology Park, which would be the Silicon Valley of China. The main focusthis project concentrate on is in this area, from all 475 high-tech companieswe have researched, only 5% companies is focusing on environmental problems andgreen energy. Beijing nowadays is one of the most driest city in this country,but the importance of sustainable utilization of water resources is still notfully aware by every citizen. Waste of the water resource especially in serviceindustry is still shocking to look at.水净化系统的灵感来自于植物的毛细作用。我们将同样的想法置入我们的水循环系统中。 我们将设备控制中心放在地下室，并使用建筑表皮作为水管网络空间，包括供水系统和太阳能净水系统。 连接每个房间的管道网络就像植物的叶脉一样，为人们提供用水。The waterpurification system is inspired by capillary action of plants. We use the sameidea on our water recycle system. We put our equipment control center in thebasement, and use building skin as a space for pipe network , including watersupply system and solar water purification system. And the pipeline networkthat connecting each room, just like leaf veins of vegetation, providing waterfor guests.
Aqua酒店由一栋主楼和三栋附属台式建筑组成。该主楼包括客房和餐饮空间，提供如健身房，KTV，图书馆等多种娱乐空间，供客人在旅途中享受行程。 主楼被具有不同功能的三座附属台式建筑所包围。 位于场地南侧的副楼是用于展示水净化和循环技术的两层楼。与此同时，也是一个使用再生水养鱼的水族馆。场地西边的副楼是举行会议的场所，也可以被公众租用。场地北边的副楼是一栋办公楼，将为酒店员工提供工作和休息场所。Aqua hotel is consisting of a main building and three podiumbuildings. The main building includes guest rooms, catering spaces andentertainment spaces, providing various choices like gym, KTV, library forguests to enjoy during their trip. The main building is surrounded by threepodium buildings that each one has different functions. The building which issitting on the south of the site is a 2 floors space for exhibitions of waterpurification and recycling technics. And meanwhile, is also an aquarium whichis using recycled water for fish raising. The west building is for holdingconventions, which could also be rent by public. The north building is anoffice building which would provide spaces for hotel staffs to work and rest.
设计中的亲水空间也使用了再利用水，内部空间水景也与该建筑的整个水循环系统相关联。每层楼的细微变化创造了一个复杂的内部空间，为阳光将每层的水景结合成迷人的画面提供了一个舞台。Waterscape in this design is using recycled water, and inner spacewaterscape is also link to the whole water cycle system in this building.Subtle variations on each floor create a complex inner space, providing astage for daylight to display fascinating scences combining waterscape on eachfloors.这种综合设计相结合建筑设备和借鉴植物的建筑表皮，是为了引起来自游客和居民的关注。人需要意识到这个国家的水资源短缺的严重性并懂得节约水资源。特别是那些专注于高科技研究的企业，也应该履行他们保护环境的社会职能，来帮助减少水资源的浪费和更加重视新能源的开发。This integrated design of combining equipments and buildingskin, reference of plants, is intend to draw attention from both guests andcitizens. People need to aware of the seriousness of source shortage in thiscountry and save water resources.Enterprises especially those who are focusingon high-tech study, should also fulfil their social responsibility to reducewaste of the water resource and attach greater importance to environmentalproblems an new energy.
