英语语法：phenomenon和medium的用法

前面我们学习了英语语法：fish(es)和duck(s)的用法、basis和focus的用法、crisis和analysis的用法、emphasis和genius的用法

1. 名词复数构成

可数名词一般有两种形式：单数和复数。构成名词复数的方法：规则变化和不规则变化。

（2）名词复数的不规则变化

某些外来词单复数变化也属于不规则变化。例如：

phenomenon - phenomena或phenomenons现象

The phenomena were very varied.

现象纷繁复杂

结构分析：The phenomena是主语（The是定冠词，作前置定语），were是be动词，过去一般时，very varied是表语。

medium - media或mediums传播媒介

These problems have been exaggerated by the media.

这些问题被新闻媒介夸大了。

结构分析：These problems是主语，have been exaggerated是谓语，现在完成时，by the media是主语补语。
