1 to be behind time 延迟

He was late for school because the bus was ten minutes behind time.

他上学迟到了是因为公共汽车迟到了十分钟。

You're always in time for meals and behind time for work.

你吃饭总是准时而工作总是迟到。

We are not running behind time as usual,and we must start to work on time.

我们不会像以往那样总是延误时间，我们必须准时开工。

2 the due time 交货日期

You can also sort the task list by priority, start date, and due time.

还可以按优先级、启动日期和到期时间对任务列表排序。

3 to postpone 拖延

First, life can end at any time, so don't postpone it.

第一，生命可能在任何时候结束，所以不要推迟。

4 to be pressed for time 赶工

You can  be pressed for time and ask for support.

你可以在某事情上很是赶时间，希望请求协助。

5 to fritter away one's time 浪费某人的时间

Don't fritter away energy and time and use them to do some significant things or whatyou like to do.

不要浪费时间和精力，把他们勇于做一些有意义的或者是你喜欢做的事情。

6 high priority 高优先级

The list can be filtered, showing only tasks that are due today, overdue, high priority, orfinished.

可以对该列表进行筛选，以仅显示今日到期、逾期、高优先级或已完成的任务。

7 low priority 低优先级

Give this entry a low priority.

赋予该条目一个低优先级。

8 at short notice 立即

We are ready to start at short notice.

我们已准备好，一接到通知马上就出发。
