Brief Introduction to RIGEO

Review of International Geographical Education Online (RIGEO) is an openaccess, quick, free of charge and a double-blind review publicationin geography education and related disciplines (such as environmental education, earth sciences education, geology education, social studies education, biology education and etc…).

地理教育研究领域有一本开放存取、反馈较快、不收取任何费用、双盲评议的期刊——国际地理教育在线评论(RIGEO)。当然,它也刊登与地理教育相关的环境教育、地球科学教育、地质教育、社会研究教育和生物教育等方向的研究。

Publication Frequency: 3 issues per year (April, August, December)

Review of International Geographical Education Online (RIGEO) is an international online, referred geographical education journal which welcomes articles on all aspects of geographical education in all levels of education systems

RIGEO是一部经过同行评议的在线国际期刊,它的邮箱欢迎在各级各类教育系统中涉及到地理教育的所有文章。

RIGEO seeks to build bridge between geography teachers, researchers, policymakers,and practitioners upon best theories and practices in learning, teaching, training, curriculum, textbooks etc. in geographical education.

RIGEO追寻的是在地理教师、研究者、政策制定者以及相关领域从业人员之间搭建一座桥梁,让目前所知最好的学习、教学、培训、课程与教材等方面的理论与实践有一个沟通的平台。

RIGEO has an international scope; therefore, authors are encouraged to focus on the aspects of their research/activities that make the work relevant for the larger community of geography educators and policymakers in a global dimension.

RIGEO放眼国际;因此,投稿的作者们不仅关注自己的研究,同时(编辑部鼓励作者)也要让自己所作出的成果能够在全球范围内影响更多的地理教育从业者与政策制定者。

RIGEO is published three issues per year and provides immediate open access to itscontent on principle that making research freely available to the public to support a greater global exchange of geographical education knowledge.

RIGEO每年三期,所刊内容即时开放给所有人获取。这是因为它的原则就是让研究对公众免费,以支持全球范围内的地理教育知识交互。

Scope and Focus

RIGEO aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice in geography education. It is open for rigorous research papers as well as all level teachers’ experience about good practice for geography lessons and discussion papers.

RIGEO旨在为地理教育中理论与实践之间日渐出现的鸿沟架起一座沟通的桥梁。它向所有严肃缜密的研究性文章、从事各级各类地理教育工作的教师为地理课所做的积极尝试和讨论文章开放。
