I'd better get going. Really nice meeting you!Would you like to meet my sister?2. 当表示安排与别人见面时,可以是 hang out,a romatic date 或 a business meeting 等,常用 meet up (with sb),意为”见面,会面,与某人会晤“等,例如:
Lorraine and I meet for lunch once a month. They met up again later for a drink. The President met with senior White House aides.I'm meeting with a financial advisor next week to see if I qualify for a loan.
Bronwyn’s family don’t know the town very well.I knew that person yesterday. I know that people's handwriting changes as they get older. They know it will be hard to adjust to life in a new country. I know how to play soccer.I know how to speak English. Many women know how to carry out repairs on their cars. We need skilled workers and technical know-how.I don’t have the technical know-how to repair a computer.4. get to know 是一个熟悉一个地方或人的一个过程,首先是 get,然后是 know,例如:You'll like her once you get to know her.I just moved to Seattle last week, but I’m still getting to know the city.I met Ethan before, but I’m still getting to know him.
