Many Afghanistan schools are not in a house or building. They are in the open air! Some classrooms are in the tents.

Why so? Because there is a long-time war in Afghanistan. The country is poor  and don't have money to build schools. Many children don't have money or chance to go to school.

The students don't have desks or chairs. They sit on a big mat together. Even the teachers don't have a teacher's desk. And the blackboards are small. The blackboards are on the ground and the students at the back can't see clearly.
