DIY(Do It Yourself)

You can't take my comb which belongs to my property！You gotta DIY one if you want to comb your hair.

你不能拿走我的梳子，那是我的东西!如果你想梳头，你得自己动手做一个。

You are intelligent and self-reliant enough to work well on your own in exchange of bones.

你足够聪明，足以自力更生，可以自己很好地工作，以换取骨头。

If you want to stay with me, you gotta enable yourself to become self-sufficient in hunting mice.

如果你想和我呆在一起，你就必须让自己在捕食老鼠方面变得自给自足。

Mum said if you want to buy a new skirt, your old one has to be sold on your own. As hard I tired to make a promotion to the adults, it seems like no one was interested buying！

妈妈说如果你想买一条新裙子，你的旧裙子必须自己去卖掉。虽然我努力向成年人推销，但是似乎没有人感兴趣来买!

self supporting自立的

To be self supporting, I found a job as a salesman. But it was at the very moment in the office of my boss, I got mad because he refused to pay for my work.

为了在（经济上）自给自足，我找了一份推销员的工作。但就在那一刻，因为他拒绝为我的工作支付薪酬，我在我老板的办公室里冒火了。

personally

这个词有两种重要的用法

A.就本人而言；就个人看来

例如：Personally and medically, I don’t think eating too much bread would be harmful to my health.

在我看来：从医学角度来讲，我不认为吃太多面包会对我的健康有害。

B. 亲自

例如：Then he decided to personally show hospitality toward his best friend of pillow in the most friendly and welcoming way.

于是他决定以最友好和欢迎的方式，亲自对他最好的朋友——枕头献殷勤。

independent 独立的

Someone please tell me how much time in the world would it take for me to be independent of my parents！I have had enough of my ignorant parents!

谁能告诉我，我究竟需要多长时间才能独立呢！我受够了我无知的父母啦！
