3.2 同一名词作可数名词与不可数名词的意义差别

3.某些名词用作复数时的意义扩大

有些不可数名词在作可数名词时常常以复数形式出现表示更为扩大的意义。例如：

The children were playing with sand all afternoon.

孩子们整个下午在玩沙。

结构分析：The children是主语，were playing是谓语（现在完成时），with sand是状语，all afternoon是时间状语。

He walked along the sands, enjoying the seeting sun.

他漫步在沙滩上，欣赏着落日。

结构分析：He是主语，walked是谓语（过去一般时），along the sands是状语, enjoying the seeting sun是-ing式词组作状语。
