清华大学朱永法课题组--石墨烯层封装 α-MnO2 纳米纤维调整表面电子结构用于有效分解臭氧
开发用于臭氧分解的锰基材料时,遇到的主要挑战有稳定性差和水失活效应等。为了解决这些问题,这里开发了一种分级结构,即石墨烯封装的α-二氧化锰纳米纤维。优化后的催化剂在相对湿度为20%的条件下,臭氧转化效率稳定在80%以上,100小时内稳定性良好。即使相对湿度增加到50%,臭氧转化率也达到70%,远远超过纯α-二氧化锰纳米纤维的性能。这里,表面的石墨碳通过从内部不饱和锰原子中捕获电子而被活化。优异的稳定性源于适度的局部功函数,它优化了臭氧分子吸附和中间氧物种解吸时的反应势垒。疏水的石墨烯壳阻碍了水蒸气的化学吸附,从而增强了其耐水性。该工作为催化剂设计提供了重要的见解,并将促进锰基催化剂在臭氧分解中的实际应用。
