2.惯用复数形式的名词

（2）某些名词在作某种意义解时常常以复数形式出现。例如：

arms武器

The police caught an international arms trafficker.

警察抓到了一个国际武器贩子。

结构分析：The police是主语，caught是谓语，过去一般时，an international arms trafficker是宾语。

forces军队

He urged restraint on the security forces.

他竭力主张限制安全部队。

结构分析：He是主语，urged是谓语，过去一般时，restraint是宾语，on the security forces是宾语补语。
