◎ 生日
我从东到西
骑着大马
披红带花
虚拟我在民国
那一场大雨呵
正赶上我的生日
需要举杯
需要一醉方休
需要举起刀
从红绸子上面划过
多么冷峻的人间
常常险象环生
常常像书中的你
夜走灵谷峡
露宿那个荒野小店
一杯又一杯
祝福刚过
似乎我没来过
当质疑还悬挂在我的天空
询问将会重新开始
那些曾经的理想
依然泊在一张白纸上

The Birthday

I am riding a horse
Draped with red silk, having fought and been wounded
An imaginary me heading from East
To West in the People’s Republic
In a bout of heavy rain
That coincides with the day of my birth
I need to raise a glass
I need to get blind drunk
I need to draw my sword
Across the red silk
How gravely indifferent the world is
With dangers lurking at every turn
Like those you face in the book
When you spend the night camping out
In the wilds of Linggu Gorge at that small inn
Cup follows cup of wine
My birthday just celebrated
It seems as though I was never there
While there are doubts suspended in my sky
My search for answers will begin anew
The dreams onto which I once held
Still lie secured to a blank page
