一、used to
I used to love sushi but I seem to have gone off it now.He used to smoke, but he doesn’t smoke any more.I didn’t use to eat oysters but now I love them.
二、would always
Would always
She would always send me strange birthday gifts.
Sam and Mary would always choose the most exotic vacation destinations.Sally would not always arrive early to class. She came late once or twice.Ned would always show up at our house without calling first.Danny would not always come out with us.We would not always go abroad for the summer holidays.
Jeff would never pay for drinks when we went out together with our friends. He would never do anything to jeopardize his career.
1. 和 would always 类似的还有 would constantly, would often, would forever 或只是would,表示动作经常发生,但是不建议使用 would,因为这很容易跟条件句和过去将来时混淆,例如:Jerry would constantly bring his girlfriend to the parties.Jerry would often bring his best friend to the parties.Jerry would occasionally bring his older brother to the parties.2. 同理,和 would never 类似的还有 would rarely, would occasionally 和 would seldom,表示动作不经常发生,例如:Jerry would seldom bring his sister to the parties.Jerry would never bring his younger brother to the parties.
Sarah was shy, but now she is very outgoing. (正确)Sarah used to be shy, but now she is very outgoing. (正确)Sarah would always be shy, but now she is very outgoing.
