“去医院”可不是“go to hospital”!

“go to hospital”?

“go to hospital”不是这么用的

“go to hospital”本身完全没问题

“go to hospital”真正的意思

你要go to hospital的时候,

see a doctor 看医生

go to a doctor 看医生

例:

I'll see a doctor on Monday.

go to hospital和go to the hospital千万别混淆

The difference is that “go to hospital” means that you are or will be a patient in the hospital.

“Go to the hospital” means that you are not a patient. You are going there for some other reason.

“Go to the hospital”

So, “he had to go to hospital” means he was admitted as a patient there, and “he had to go to the hospital” means that he was there in some other capacity than as a patient, as in “He had to go to the hospital to pick up his mother , who is being released.”

所以,“he had to go to hospital”这句话就含有他是这个医院被确诊的病人的意思,“he had to go to the hospital”则意味着他以病人以外的其他身份在那里,就跟这句话“He had to go to the hospital to pick up his mother , who is being released.”(他得去医院接他要出院的母亲。)似的。
