英语语法：the+形容词的用法

2. 使用名词属格时，必须注意的地方

一般来说，’s属格多用于有生命的东西，of属格多用于无生命的东西，但实际上，两种结构既有区别之处，又有相通之处。

（2）必须用of属格的情况

5）名词本身带有后置修饰语或者含有“the+形容词”表示一类人。例如：

The housing problems of the poor

穷人的住房问题

例句：This is a report on the housing problems of the poor people.

这是一篇有关贫民住房问题的报告。

结构分析：This是主语，is是系动词，a report on the housing problems of the poor people是表语，其中on the housing problems of the poor people是后置定语（of the poor people是后置定语）。

The views of the professors attending the meeting

出席会议的教授们的观点

例句：The views of the professors attending the meeting are that these new papers are helpful for attenders.

出席会议的教授们的观点是这些新论文对参会者有益。

结构分析：The views of the professors attending the meeting是主语（attending the meeting是-ing式词组，作后置定语），are是系动词，that引导表语从句，these new papers是主语，are是系动词，helpful for attenders是表语。
